88 Live to Ride and the Matt Bartosek Memorial Fund have contributed to a number of great causes since 2003. With the money raised over the past few years, 88 Live to Ride & The Matt Bartosek Memorial Fund have been proud to be a part of the following events:

On July 30th, 2006, Pro racer Jeremiah Jones was involved in a serious accident during an ATVA Motocross event in New Berlin, New York. Unfortunately, Jeremiah injured his T10-T12 and seriously injured his spinal cord causing paralysis from his waist down. From the moment of the tragic accident, 88 Live to Ride and friends of Jeremiah began planning means of fundraising. Less than a week after the accident, 88livetoride.com began selling Jeremiah Jones wristbands online, and also organizing sales at the motocross events. On August 30th, 88livetoride.com also began selling Jeremiah Jones LT-450R Quadracer Raffle Tickets online as well as at several different racing events.

On June 20th, 2006, Anthony Mastrocola was having an incredible weekend of racing at Steel City in Pittsburgh PA with two wins on Saturday in the Production C & 265C, but disaster struck on Sunday during his Production C race when his ATV nose dived over a jump slamming Anthony into the ground. As a result of the impact, Anthony crushed his T4 & T5 vertebrate located in the middle of the back, which left him without any feeling below his chest. In an effort to help raise funds for the Anthony Mastrocola family, the board of 88 Live to Ride hosted a Benefit Auction that was held at Loretta Lynn’s on Saturday, August 12th with all the proceeds going to Anthony Mastrocola’s rehabilitation. We are proud to say that Anthony received $15,000.00 from that auction. Anthony expressed his gratitude for everyones help. "The fundraiser was a blessing. It payed for the many medical bills that we would have been stuck with as well as the shortcomings from our insurance. Debi surely went the extra mile as well as others who will never be forgotten to not only give us help but really help my family and I deal with this."

Interest from a permanent endowment, founded in Matt’s memory, has been used to purchase needed supplies to stock the ATV Mobile Medical trailer. In 2004, $900 was donated followed by $750 in 2005, and $900 again in 2006.

In 2005, the Matt Bartosek Memorial Fund donated monies that were used to purchase 35 first aid kits for the Northwestern Little League. Pictured are just a few of the Northwestern Little League participants that will benefit from the First Aid Kits. Elaine Shaffer, President of the Northwestern Little League said, "I had a feeling Matt was smiling down from heaven during the presentation. Thank you for the contribution of the first aid kits and supplies, and thank you for making wonderful memories for everyone..."
